Because it is made of rigid plastic, the pStyle is easily maneuvered through clothing and properly positioned. The rounded back edge is used to wipe with so there are no drips! The pStyle can be cleaned with soap and water, wet wipes, or shaken vigorously and washed at the next convenient time. It is also dishwasher safe.

We are discontinuing cloud and have discounted the price to $9.99 so we can clear them out and make more room for our other colors. If you love cloud - stock up now!

Please note that the pStyle works well for many adults and children. Due to the diversity of human bodies, it cannot work for ALL people. If you have concerns about the size of the pStyle and whether it would work for you, please contact us

Maneuver the pStyle through your clothing and place it so the widest part is centered under your urethra. Check to be sure clothing is not inside the cup of the pStyle. Tilt the open end down, relax, and pee. After you finish peeing, wait a moment, then pull the pStyle slowly forward with a firm upward pressure to remove the remaining drops.

Shake vigorously or rinse with water and store in a secure place. If water is not available, wash your pStyle at the next convenient time or carry sanitary wipes. The pStyle is dishwasher safe.

Most users have success the first time they try the pStyle. For some it takes a little practice. You can perfect your technique in the shower.

Can people with physical issues or wheelchairs use the pStyle?

Many people with injuries or physical issues have great success with the pStyle. If you are on crutches, can’t sit on a public toilet after a hip replacement, or just have a hard time getting up and down due to painful knees it will be very useful.

We have heard positive reports from people who can’t use public restrooms due to chemical sensitivity or phobias and people with a frequent need to urinate due to pregnancy or illness.

People who use wheelchairs have varied success. You need to be able to get to the front of the chair and get the pStyle under your body in order for it to work.

If you have questions please contact us.

How do I avoid getting splatter on my shoes / splashback in a toilet.

Take a wide stance. Avoid peeing onto a hard surface such as asphalt or compacted dirt. Aim for a vertical surface. Aim onto a surface that is lower than your shoes.

In a toilet, alter the angle of your pee stream so that it hits the wall of the toilet/urinal at a gradual angle; the closer to 90 degrees, the worse the splashback will be. You can also lay down a piece of toilet paper and aim for that.

Check out this video on the fluid dynamics of splashback for more info.

Can I use the pStyle in a car?

Never drive and pStyle at the same time. Determined passengers may be able to pull it off. Best practice is to find a safe place to pull over and use the pStyle while the vehicle is not in motion.

I’m having trouble using the pStyle. What should I do?

First re-read the instructions. You may not be placing the pStyle far back enough. The ideal spot for the back end is just forward of the perineum. Make sure you are tilting it downward and not tipping it to the side. Check to see that clothing is not inside the cup.

If you are still having trouble you are welcome to contact us. with questions. We will try our best to help you figure out how to have success.

Who uses the pStyle?

While women are the primary users they are not the only ones who benefit. Everyone wins when someone close to them has an easier time peeing. Non Binary folks and trans men might use the pStyle. Cis gendered men might use a pStyle if they have a medical condition that interferes with their ability to stand up and pee.

Can children use the pStyle?

We have had reports of successful pStyle use from parents of children as young as three. Practice in the shower is recommended.

    Personal urinating device

I found it quite simple to master using one. I started practicing in the shower then progressed to the toilet to figure how to keep myself as unexposed as possible as I will be using this on a week long rafting trip with strangers. I found it also wipes the urine off rather well with mostly no wetness left.

Wow! I didn't "need" this, having considered myself quick, skilled and comfortable with the squat-in-the bushes nature-girl-approach while in the Great Outdoors (I bought this thinking I'd need it for a front-zippered dry suit for kayaking vs. a "seat-drop" style dry suit). Fast forward to doing many hikes, I am now a fan having the pStyle handy (in the pStyle Case and clipped within reach on my pack straps). Relief-stops along a hiking trail are fast and easy, without any squatting or exposed backsides necessary. I never considered TP necessary for peeing when out roughing it. But the with the pStyle, it is easy to remove it in such a way that you can feel decently "wiped off" afterwards (think of how one uses a spoon to gently wipe applesauce off a toddler's chin when feeding her). Besides it's uses in the outdoors, I appreciate using it in unappealing public restrooms and trailhead outhouses. Finally, there is something psychologically empowering about standing (rather than crouching in the bushes), and able to see around you, whether to enjoy the view or to be alert to your surroundings.

    Great idea! And it works

Posted by Chris on 9th Nov 2022

I wondered if I would be able to use it, one practice run at the toilet and I felt confident that I wouldn’t have a problem. Even though I’m content being born female, I was always jealous of how easy it was for men to pee. I was so happy to hear about this product! I keep one in my car with a bag of other toileting necessities like the kula cloth and a holey hiker bidet attachment. I like to color coordinate everything and give them as gifts to my female friends. You never know when you’ll need it!

    PUD

My family (all boys) made me stop talking about the pStyle because I bought it for our vacation, it changed EVERYTHING (more later), and I wouldn’t stop talking about it! We fish and hike and spend many hours in a boat. My friend loves her pStyle, told me it would improve my outdoor experience and she couldn’t have been more right. To be able to pee off the side of the boat, and to be able to go without removing ANY clothes allowed me to stay hydrated, enjoy a beer occasionally and NOT worry about when and where I might have to go. My friend’s kid is a trans young man and I told him about pStyle and he sounded very excited about it. A total game changer and there’s NO mess!! It just works beautifully!! Thank you so much!!!

    My Favorite Way to Go

    Posted by T. on 22nd Aug 2022

I got the pStyle originally for camping, tired of having to expose so much skin to mosquitos in the damp forests of Oregon. A small learning curve (practice in the shower) and now I've mastered my favorite travel accessory. I use it camping, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and even at rest areas when I might not want to hover awkwardly over gross seats. I've also gotten skilled enough to pee into an old bottle using it! No more tramping into the woods at 2am for me :D I HIGHLY recommend the pStyle case with its thick fabric, perfect for containing any excess liquid or smells.

    pStyle

I was prepared to be disappointed as I had tried a different funnel before this one. I was elated to find that the pStyle works perfectly. No spills or drips and very easy to use and rinse off afterward. I used it on a few section hikes on the PCT and not having to take off a backpack or pull down pants was amazing. That makes a huge difference on a multiday trip with a heavy packpack. Thank you so much for this product, I love it!!
